Background
Italys intention was to invade abyssinia,this was mainly due to its fertile lands and mianeral wealth,but also mussolini italys facist leader,wanted to restore the glory of rome to italy,he wanted an empire and was willing to do all he could to do so.the abysinnan empror halle selassle applied to the leauge.
Phase 1
Mussolini, was negotiating with the leauge to setle dispute while at the same time he was shipping his army over to abyssina ready to invade.Boht Britan and France did not…
