Uses nuclear fission to generate electricity. Fission requires a specific material to maximise the output - in this case it is Uranium-235. Although nuclear power is said to be pollution free, it is not strictly true as the mining and purification of U requires energy from fossil fuels. Also as most of the U mines are located in Australia and Canada, the ore has to be transported to sites where it will be used.

There are also the problems with cost of the construction of a nuclear power plant and also the very high decommissioning prices. It is also thought to be an unsafe method due to a few incidents where material was leaked or…
