Creationism

God created the universe in 6 days and he rested on the 7th.
Humans were created in God's image, meaning humans have the potential to be as good as God.
No mistakes or coincidences, all created by God.
"He saw what he had created and it was good".

Scientific theory

Big Bang and Evolution - Universe expansion of particles. Microbes develop into living creatures.
Charles Darwin gives his theory of survival of the fittest.

Intelligent design

A theory of both science and creationism.
Christians who believe that the world was created by the Big Bang and evolution but there must be a higher creator as our world is far too detailed and complicated to be a coincidence.
There must have been a higher creator.

Dominion

We as humans have dominance over the planet and animals, so therefore should be able to use it as we please.....

'Animals have no soul'

'Humans should have dominion over the fish of the sea and the foul of the air'

Stewardship

Look after and protect the environment - it's our duty to protect animals and the planet because we have responsibility and are superior.

'Humans were made in Gods image'

'Treat the earth as if your life depends on it'
