Different types of production
Job production is when a single good or service is produced start to finish. E.g the building of an office block or a bridge.

Batch production is when a number or amounts of the same products is made at the same time. E.g a business might make 1000 000 rivets of one size, then it would change the settings on its machine to produce rivets of another size.

Flow production is when a product is made continuously. E.g cars on an assembly line are made using flow production teckniques.

Process production is a technique where a product is made continuouslyby being passed through a production plant rather than on an assembly line. E.g petrol is manufactored using process production.
