Plato's view of knowledge is only accessible by a few people (Philosophers Rulers)
His view also goes against our everyday conception, where most people claim to know quite a few things.
The idea that only a few people can glimpse the truth, and further that these people should rule in our best interest, is certainly anti-democratic.
