Why did crime changed so much?

Factors of change-

Change in Laws at the time, law changed, and not all people were happy about it, thus people reacted in diferent ways, unfortunatly, using crime.

Changes in technology/travel, with eisier ways to get in and out of places, and easier ways to do things, crime rates could increase, and it would make people harder to catch.
