How to Answer the Question

• Define with 3 descriptive points 
• Explain - shown in item - describe it
• Use key concept

 You should aim to spend five minutes on that question.
This question will ask why the research it in the item used a particular method or sample or process in their research.

You will need:

- To define 

- Provide a reason (in context of research)

- Use relevent terminology 

E.g.State and define: 

- The method

- Sample 

- Process that the question asked about

Exsplain how this was useful to the researcher in the study (described in item) 

Refer to who did research and what they did as explaining reason 

Use relevant concepts

Spend 30 to 35 minutes on this question
You will be asked to use the item and sociological studies to explain the strengths and weaknesses of the issues social need to consider:
- method 

- process 

- methodology 

- sample

Introduction to include: 

- a definition

- explanation of the method/ process/methodology
Main pharaographs will need:

- A section on strengths using terms/studies/the item

- A section on weaknesses using terms/studies/the item 

If an 'issues' question you look at the number of issues related to the topic using terms/studies/the item
