Marine Processes: Operating on the coastline connected with the sea, waves, tides and longshore drift etc.
Sub-aerial Processes: Processes operating on the land but affecting the shape of the coastline, such as weathering, mass movement and runoff.
Eustatic Change- Sea level changes because of an alteration in the volume of water. Always a global effect.
Isostatic Change- Change in the height of land. If the height of the land decreases and sea level rises. Local sea level change.
