How do you tell an alien how we carry
out gas exchange?
Well we have nothing in common but it doesn't matter, I'll explain the major
difference which is gas exchange.
First we have the nasal cavity but but you won't understand as you don't have
it, but it's the first organ besides the nose and mouth of how we homosapians
Next comes the pharynx and larynx which sounds more like pheonix and lynx
the perfume you jadore. However they connect to the special part called the
traches and no it's not another word for a track, it's made out of cartilage
which stops it from collapsing inwards like the 9/11 tragic. So the cartilage is
the superorgan of the breathing system/gas exchange; without it. No humans.
The trechea is split into 2 sections called bronchus which each section is
connected to one of the baloony shaped twins , the lungs which the whole
universe knows we have. The brinchus is split into many bronchiolus in the lung
then further into many, many alveoler duct, no not duck duct.
At the end of each alvoler duct there's alveolus which looks like a bunch of
grapes, yum. Each grape i.e. alveoli is covered with capilaries which is where
the oxygen gets into the blood and CO2 gets out of the blood by diffusion.
What are the structures involved, I here you ask.
Well, when we breathe in (inspiration, which is the cool way of saying it) our
external costal muscles which is the outside muscle of the lung, contract. And
they relax when we breathe out ( expiration, which is the cool scientific way of

down when expiration occurs.
