She's mature, caring and a mother figure towards to soldiers

Soft tone = Shows that Wendy is gentle and caring
High pitch = Shows that Wendy is excited and enthusiastic to tell the story of Peter Pan
Slow pace = She's calm and allows the soldiers to understand the story
