  • Cheap and easy to securre from preadtors
  • Environmental condition can be controlled(e.g light and temperature)
  • More enrgy eficent
  • Cheap product

Disadvantages

  • Diseas can be separted in crowded animals
  • Cramped conditions can cause neagtive behaviour
  • Injure animals
  • Animal walfare not met
  • Environmental conditions met by fossil fuels
