  • The Inspector, Sheila Gerald and Eric all say that she was "pretty." Gerald describes her as "very pretty - soft brown hair and big dark eyes."
  • Confident young lady- as she was the only worker brave enough to ask Mr Birling for a pay rise.
  • Eva/ Daisy is a way of helping the whole family to realise what they have done. Although she may not have been entirely real each one of the characters did something to 'Daisy/ Eva'

  • Eva obviously isn't able to change throughout the play is she is dead. But from what we know she was a confident young women but in the end sadly got taken advantage of and got forced to go to extreme measures of killing herself.
  • Her parents were dead.

  • She came from outside Brumley: Mr Birling speaks of her being "country-bred."
