Advantages

  • Can lead to useful products being made.
  • Can bring jobs to people.
  • Can increase the local economy.
  • Can lead to better health and transport facilities.

Disadvantages

  • Bad for the environment.
  • Creates large amounts of noise pollution.
  • Causes scarring to the natural beauty of the land.
  • Deep mine shafts can be dangerous.

Evaluation

In consideration, for every advantage, their will be a disadvantage to combat it. Mining is always considered by most people as a brilliant idea until they find out a mine might be built near them. For something as life changing as this, there is no clear evaluation.
