Changes To Weather

Causes

  • Rising carbon dioxide emission
  • Soot and other gases produced by factories
  • Ash released by Volcanoes
  • Changes in our Orbit round the Sun

Effects

  • Greenhouse gas effect resulting Global Warming
  • Heat from the cities reflects back down onto Earth, so local temperature increases
  • Reflect radiation from the Sun, back into space, so the Earth cools down
  • Ice ages

Overall summary

Changes in temperature have large effects on Weather. Global warming means that more regions suffer from extreme weather. Warmer water means that more hurricanes will form (hurricanes form over warm water). Changing weather patterns affects food production. This will get worse as temperature increases and weather patterns change more.
