Influences media agenda- media can take actions further and influence the government UK have free press- members of the press can criticise government policy or bring any other issues to awareness.	Disadvantages public can be manipulated- media creates public opinion governments respond to quickly to public opinion- E.G DANGEROUS DOG ACT 1991 Public can resort to criminal behaviour to promote their cause- EG 2015 STUDENT PROTEST AGAINST TUITION.
