  • Writing to Argue
    • Always show both sides of the issue but use Strawman Strongman structure.
    • Use rhetorical questions to engage the reader - not too many though.
      • Emotive language is essential to communicate clearly
        • Be polite when destroying the opposing viewpoint!
    • Some useful phrases are:-
      • Whilst many  may believe... It would too simple to say...A further point  which supports my belief is...
    • In your plan make sure you organise both sides of the argument so you can argue against the other view easily
    • Types of argument pieces are:- letters, speeches and blogs.
