- Why are laws needed?
- Advanced civilisations like the UK need to laws to keep everything organised
- Laws protect the weak from the strong. Imagine if stealing, **** and murder were allowed!
- Humans live in groups - groups need rules to organise the behaviour of individuals
- Laws let us know what types of behaviour are allowed. E.g Everyone drives on the left hand side
- Laws let us work and be involved in business without being ripped off. Imagine working and not being paid!
- To create peace for everyone to live in.
- To be kept safe from criminals
- To be able to live without fear
- To be protected from violence
