- ozone is O3 this is how CfC'sdamage the ozone

- washing soda is sodium carbonate when this is added to hard water a precipitation reaction happens the water softens as the calcium and magnesium ions in the hard water are removed as a solid precipitate

- water can be ionised by the presence of an ionic substance in it so to electrolyse water you add a small amount of sulphuric acid it it before you electrolyse it
- hydrogen is given off at the cathode the half equation for it is H+ + e- ---> H2
