    • Motor Neuron
      • Short dendrites and long axons.
      • These connect the CNS to effectors such as muscles and glands. Carry information from the brain to muscles and glands.
    • Sensory Neurons
      • Long dendrites and short axons.
      • Carry messages from the PNS to the CNS.  Carry information from sense organs towards the brain.
    • Relay Neurons
      • Short dendrites and short axons.
      • These connect the sensory neurons to the motor or other relay neurons.
      • Carry information to and from the brain. Involved in analysing information and deciding how to respond
