                    • TENSION = in strings/cables/ ropes that are being stretched.

                          • Breaking distance = distance travelled whilst car is decelerating to stop.
                          • Breaking distance = distance travelled whilst car is decelerating to stop.

                                  • Momentum = mass x velocity
                                  • moment = force x perpendicular distance from pivot.

                                • Force = change in momentum/time taken
                                  • F =ma
                                • For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
                                  • The rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the force acting on it.
                                    • unless there is a force acting on an object, it will continue to move in a straight line at constant speed or remain at rest.
