      • the growing interconnectedness of societies across the world
      • more immigration from the EU - means uk has more choice of food & products, less jobs, more family diversity
      • more undocumented workers- 500,000 - 800,000
      • greater cultural diversity- hybrid families, people more aware of different cultures
      • changing families- extended, LATs etc.
