    • Specific testable predictions about what you expect to find after analysing the data from your participants.
    • EXPERIMENTAL HYPOTHESIS
      • Opposite to the null hypothesis
      • States something will be affected
    • NULL HYPOTHESIS
      • States there will be no differences
      • Anything afected is due to chance
      • You test this hypothesis
        • If it is rejected, it means your data does not indicate a real effect and you have found support for you alternative hypothesis
