Aims
This is an aim of the study. Researchers need to identify what it is that they're studying.

This is a prediction of what we think will happen at the end of the study.

Alternative / Experimental Hypotheses
This must state an outcome the research. Experimental if doing an experiment, Alternative if anything else.

Null Hypotheses
This is the result we would expect if the variables weren't manipulated.

One-Tailed Hypotheses
This is where you know the results are going. It is also know as directional.

Two-Tailed Hypotheses
This is where you don't know where the results are going. Also know as non-directional.
