- Different sentence types
- Complex- e.g " Whilst i was sitting on my bed, I called my friend". Makes the reader more engaged as their is more information, makes them want to know more.
- Compound- e.g. "My brother brought a spider and I got a snake". It links two ideas together to describe something in more depth.
- Simple- e.g"It just sat there." Emphasise a sentence and tries to give it a deeper meaning.
