  • Types of Conformity
    • Internalisation
      • When a person publicly, privately and permanently changes their behaviour to fit in with the group norm. For example you wear makeup in public and private.
    • Compliance
      • When a person changes their behaviour publically and not privately to fit in with the group norm. For example only wearing make up in public and not  in private.
    • Indentification
      • When a person changes their behaviour to fit in with the group publicly and privately even thought you personally don't agree with it. For example wearing make up publically and privately even though you don't agree with wearing make up.
