Tamoxifen- mechanism of action
Estrogen- receptor nuclear complex → recruits dna repressor protiens such as NCor1 and NCoR2 → these bind to the DNA and inhibit HER2 expression → cell growth inhibited

repression of the HER2 pathway will result in reduced proliferation of cells tumour shrinkage, prevent increase in size, reduce proliferation and differentiation

Herceptin (monoclonal antibody)- mechanism of action
Binds to HER2 and prevents its dimerization causes optimization marking the cells --> allows for the immune system to attack and kill → activate the macrophages, ADCC pathway and complement cascade

manage the positive and negative symptoms by anatgonising dopamine in the mesolimbic and mesocortical and serotonin in hippocampus and pre-frontal cortex

Diazepam- mechanism of action (anticonvulsant)
Anticonvulsant → binds to the voltage-dependent sodium channels and prevents their opening so inhibits sustained firing

bind nonspecifically to benzodiazepine receptors. coupled to gamma-amcoupled to(GABAA) receptors, this increases GABA affinity. Binding of GABA opens the cl- channel--> hyper polarisation and prevention of further excitation
