8. Small flattened structure found in plant cells. Double membrane & thylakoid membrane inside. Stacked up to form grana - linked together by lamellae. Photosynthesis takes place. (11)

2. Small fluid-filled sac in cytoplasm, Transports substances toand from cll via plasma membrane. (7)
5. Scanning Electron Microscope: Reflected electrons are gathered in a cathode ray tube, shown on TV image. Show surface of specimen and can be 3D. (3)

8. Supports plant cells: rigid structure surrounds plant cells - made up of cellulose. (4, 4)
9. Normally oval. Double membrane. Inner one is folded to form cristae. Inside is matrix - contains enzyme involved in respiration. ATP produced. (13)
