Tertiary structure is all about folding the protein into a precise three dimensional shape. These 'folds' are held together by four types of bonds. Name these four types.
Hydrogen bonds, Ionic bonds, covalent bonds, and polar interactions.

In polar interactions, some groups are hydrophilic (water loving) and some are hydrophobic (water hating). What does this result in?
The hydrophilic groups arranging themselves on the outside of the protein and the hydrophobic groups on the inside.

Where do you find covalent bonds?
Between sulphur groups in cysteine called a 'disulphide bridge'

Between ionised R groups

It's 3-dimensional shape is disrupted.

This is only due to the breaking of hydrogen bonds caused by vibrations at higher temperatures.
Not true, this can also be due to the changes in pH breaking the ionic bonds between the R side chains.

Two or more poly peptide chains held together by hydrogen bonds.
