What are the sections of the vertebral column?
Cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral

7 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral and 4 coccygeal. 33 altogether. The 5 sacral vertebrae are fused to form the sacrum and the 4 coccygeal vertebrae are fused to form the coccyx

A bundle of spinal nerves and spinal nerve rootlets, consisting of L2-L5 nerve pairs, S1-S5 nerve pairs, and the coccygeal nerve

Meninges
Three membranes that envelop the brain and spinal cord - dura mater, arachnoid mater and pia mater

Cerebrospinal fluid
Fluid that is located in the subarachnoid space. It circulates nutrients and chemicals filtered from the blood and removes waste products from the brain. Also functions as a shock absorber from the CNS

Nerve plexus
Composed of afferent and efferent fibres that arise from the merging of the anterior rami of spinal nerves and blood vessels
