Explain Bandura's perspective
Bandura argued that people's behaviour is often copied from others, we imitate or copy others without reinforcement or conditioned learning.

What is the Bobo doll experiement?
Bandura placed a doll in a room, he showed children adults behaving aggressivly towards this doll such as kicking and punching. children that watched the adults behaving aggressively were more likely to copy this behaviour when playing with the doll.

This showed children are not only influenced by conditioning and reinforcement, they are also influenced by what they see happening to others.

What are reasons to copy an imitate behaviours?
If a reward is given, if it is precieved as being liked and respected, if it stands out, can be copied without being too difficult.

Whilst children are more likely to imitate behaviours of adults who have been rewarded they learnt and could copy behaviours that they observed.
