9 of 16
What is the importance of infertility treatments?
It is part of human nature to want to have children and people who are infertile may experience psychological problems if they are not helped to have children.
10 of 16
What are the Christian attitudes for infertility treatments?
Christians allow IVF & AIH because one of the purposes of Christian marriage is to have children, and these help people to fulfill that purpose, neither of these treatments involve donated material so there is no confusion about who the parents are.
11 of 16
What are the Christian attitudes against infertility treatments?
Artificial insemination involves the man masturbating and this is a sin. All Infertility treatment involves fertilisation taking place separately from the sex act. IVF involves extra embryos being fertilised which are then discarded, destroying life.
12 of 16
What are Muslim views towards infertility treatments?
Most Muslims agree with IVF & AIH for exactly the same reasons as Christians. Muslims ban all other forms of Infertility Treatment because children have a right to know who their parents are and egg or sperm donation is like adultery or adoption.

Why is transplant surgery important?
It can cure fatal diseases and improve people’s lives. There are more people who need transplants than there are donors. The number of people needing transplants increases each year. It brings life out of death if the organ is donated from the dead.
14 of 16
What are Christian attitudes on transplant surgery?
The body is not needed after death so the organs should help anyone who is in need. God is able to transform our bodies so the organs are not needed. It is a way of loving our neighbors, as Jesus taught. It follows the golden rule.
15 of 16
What are Islamic attitudes towards transplant surgery?
The Shariah Law says it is wrong to remove anything from the body after death. It is playing God. On the last day we will need our bodies to be complete.
