What do Judges do in court?

Listing, make sure proceedings run smoothly, make sure proceedings are fair, trying to work out what actually happened (truth), applying law to facts, making decisions, guiding juries, judicial review, making law, appeals, enforcing human rights

To ensure it is carried out fairly, decide questions of law, decisions made by a single judge, decide verdict and award, deciding what track is the most appropriate, holding preliminary hearings, may also be responsible for running court office

Ensure it is carried out fairly, decide on questions of law, magistrates deal with bail and preliminary matters, crown court sums up jury/sentencing
