What is Quantitative Research?
Quantitative research is concerned with the quantity or measurement of some phenomenon. It subscribes to a particular empirical approach.

Qualitative research is research that is concerned with the quality or qualities of some phenomenon. Qualitative is principally concerned with text and meaning.

What is Hypothetico-Deductive Method?
Hypothetico-Deductive Method is a proposed description of scientific method. According to it, scientific inquiry proceeds by formulating a hypothesis in a form that could conceivably be falsified by a test on observable data.

What are Operationalising Variables?
Refers to how you will define and measure a specific variable as it is used in your study. For example, if we are concerned with the effect of media violence on aggression, then we need to be very clear what we mean by the different terms.
