Yes because it was standardised therefore we're able to replicate it and a lot of trials were run and results were consistent with each other.

Was D&K study valid?

NO: might not have wanted to report dream if embarrassed so not accurate. YES: EEG made it accurate since is measured brain activity and this all correlated.

Change D&K sample size

9 to 20 (10 males and 10 females with varying backgrounds all studied intensively over 120 nights to compensate for more people) - Improved reliability and more generalisable but costly/time consuming - No impact as they didn't meet other people.

Sleep lab to own bed cameras - HEV; More expensive/time consuming; Challenging to obtain sample because of privacy issues; Expands psychological harm to possible partner - Disclose more dreams because relaxed; Won't tell dream with partner there.
