- BROWN AND KULICK 'flassbulb memories' differ as they invlove enduring imrint of events surrounding an imporatnt incident. remember context of personally imporant event eg JFK assasination, 9/11. Memory may not be event but where you heard about it.

'Flashbulb' is the memory of incidental details eg where , what, who, as if scene illiminatted like a flasbulb. Suggests memories are like photographs in accuracy and unchanging nature (dont not record every part of scene).
