1 of 11
what are the phases of meiosis?
interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telephase, metaphase, anaphase, telephase, cytokinesis (ipmatmatc)
2 of 11
what is interphase?
DNA is not visible, DNA replicates itself
3 of 11
what is prophase?
the nuclear membrane breaks down, chromosomes become visible
4 of 11
what is metaphase?
chromosomes line up along the middle of the cell with their homologous pair
5 of 11
what is anaphase?
homologous chromosomes separate and move to opposite sides of the cell
6 of 11
what is telephase?
2 new nuclei are formed
2 new cells are formed
7 of 11
what is metaphase 2.0?
chromosomes line up in the middle of both cells.
8 of 11
what is anaphase 2.0?
double chromosomes split and move to opposite ends of the cells
9 of 11
what is telephase 2.0?
4 new nuclei are formed
10 of 11
what is cytokinesis?
