What was the theory of the four humours?
The belief that the four humours in the body (blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile) needed to remain balanced for people to stay healthy.

Describe the treatment of opposites.
The belief that an inbalance of the humours could be treated by something of opposite nature, for example if somebody has to much blood bloodletting would be the cure.
