people in these settings are very vulnerable thereofore they could be harmed or abused by people who have access into the same settings by a manager, visitor or even a family member who may be verbally or physically aggresive towards others.

intentional abuse and unintentional abuse

what is intentional abuse
delibrate abuse toward the individual eg a care assistant delibrately abusing the person financially. a patient delibrately abusing someone physically because they are unable to smoke. a care worker delibrately abuse a child by neglecting their needs

what is unintentional abuse
through poor care eg a care worke is physically abusing someone by moving them in a careless manner. forgetting to tell children to wash their han ds after using the toilet are neglecting them by putting them in danger to illness and inections.
