The name given to a group of explanations (Classical & Operant conditioning) which explain behaviour in terms of learning

Classical Conditioning
'Conditioning' ourselves to do something, it is learning through association. E.g. Pavlo's Dog

Operant Conditioning
Learning when rewarded or praised for doing something. The behaviour is reinforced and it becomes more likely that you'll repeat that behaviour in the future
