evidence=fathers take up the role of being main caregiver they adopt behaviours more typical than mothers themselves. the key to attachment relationship is the level of response not the gender of the parent

4 month babies face 2 face interaction with primary caregiver mothers, secondary and primary fathers. Primary fathers spent time smiling, imitating and holding infants(what mothers do).primary father can do the same job as mothers.
