1 of 5
Explain Days 5-14 of the Menstrual Cycle.
Days 5-14: FSH Causes egg to mature in egg follice which then releases oestrogen as it matures. This causes thickening of the uterus lining and stimulates the pituitary gland to stop FSH production and produce LH instead
2 of 5
Explain Day 14 of the Menstrual Cycle.
Day 14: LH stops more oestorgen being produced and causes the egg follice to release the egg.
3 of 5
Explain Days 14-21 of the Menstrual Cycle.
Days 14-21: Progestrone is released by the empty egg follice and it maintains the lining of the uterus and stops FSH and LH productions.
4 of 5
