Kornilov attempts to overthrow Prov Gov because PG wanted to continue War. Kerensky (head of the PG had no army defend petrograd so gives guns to Bolshviks asks help. Strike @ railway stoppped Kornilov for Petrograd. Bolshviks keep guns- powerful.

July Days. Bolsheviks and sailors attempt to overthrow PG. War was going bad. Kerensky sent in troops to break demonstrations and takes over PM from Prince Lvov. 60,000 russian troops died.
