It improved border relations with France, was not imposed on Germany, increased the status and popularity of the WR and helped boost confidence in Parliament.

What was the League Of Nations?
A new international body that hoped to discuss World problems in order to stop wars from occuring. Was set up in 1920 but Germany was excluded until 1926 when they were invited to the council.

An agreement between 62 nations, it committed countries to avoiding the use of war to achieve foreign policy objectives.

It showed, once again, Germany was a major power, it showed moderate political parties could grow Germany's strength internationally and increased confidence in how Germany was led.
