yeah its wrong. impermeable rock means that water cannot infiltrate, therefore it runs straight into the river, increasing discharge

Isn’t traction a process of transportation? It does erode, but it is part of abrasion. River erosion can be remembered by this: SAHA = Solution, Attrition, Hydraulic action, and Abrasion.
