.Bowlby theory- suggests children form special attachment bond w mother + must take place within critical period, though this helped childcare practices, it reinforced the idea that fem should stay eat home, make them guilty for wanting to pursue career

Gieber+Stanley identified 4 aspects:
1.The research Q- should be considered carefully as it can damage directly
2.The Methodology used- consider amount of pp+ their right to confidentiality/anonymity
