what is crime?
a behaviour/action that goes against legislations in a country

a behaviour/action which goes against norms and values of society (not illegal)

a crime that produces a monetary reward

whats acceptable in one culture differs from whats acceptable in another culture ie south asians prefer to use hand while eating food but this may be considered as rude/unhygienic in wstrn cultures

maternal deprivation- bowlby, when deprived of mothers loves, they become juvenile delinquents and increase crime

Freud- personality traits, when personality unbalanced (ID, ego, superego), id gets what it wants (crime)
