What is a CPU?
A CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. It has a number of different components which enables it to carry out its task of executing instructions

What are the three main jobs of a Control Unit?
1) It controls the way data moves around the CPU 2) It controls and monitors the flow of data between the CPU and other components such as input devices, memory, graphics card etc 3) It executes the instructions provided by the program.

What is a Bus
A bus is a set of parallel wires connecting two or more components of a computer. It typically consists of 8,16,32,or 64 lines.

What are the three main buses?
Address bus carries the address of the instruction. Data bus carries the data between the processor and the memory (Bidirectional bus, which means data can go in either direction. Control bus send signals to the processor

What is the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU)?
The Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) handles the data processing inside the CPU. It consists of two types of processing. Arithmetic operation performs standard arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, manipulation. Logic operation deals with
