Rosa Parks and the Bus
She refused to give her seat to a white passenger when the bus was full, and therefore she was arrested.

Conclusion
This showed the impact and the economic power that African Americans held. It also highlighted that nonviolence was effective. Unfortunately, this did not end segregation as a whole.
