What is meant by "Balanced Diet"?
A diet including all the nutrients we need in the right amounts.

What is meant by "Malnourishment"?
When the body lacks one vitamin, mineral or food group.

Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Attacks.

Reduce the amount of fat & sugar in the diet & Exercise more.

The speed at which chemical reactions occur in the body.

Age / Fitness

Why do men need more calories than women?
They usually have higher muscle mass. They usually have larger bodies and more strenuous jobs.

They could exercise to stay fit but have a diet lacking in one vitamin, mineral or food group.

The virus mutates so that the immune system will not recognise it.

An out break of disease in multiple countries.

Why do anti-biotics not affect flu?
Because it is a virus.

Because you have no immunological memory of the cell so your body has no defence against it and needs to make more anti-bodies.

Because if there were adverse affects they wouldn't be as dangerous for a healthy person.

A chemical that affects how the body works.

Dangerous, addictive, long term effects and change behavior.

Nausea, cravings, irritability, shaking and sweating.
