Separates the content in the cell, and what goes in and out of it
1 of 8
Why can't you see mitochondria in the light micrograph of a cell?
Because they are very tiny and cannot be seen easily, especially through a light microscope at low magnification
2 of 8
What do Chloroplasts contain, and what do they allow the Chloroplasts to do?
They contain Chlorophyll, a green pigment which allows the Chloroplasts to absorb light energy for photosynthesis
3 of 8
What are the differences between the two types of DNA found in bacterial cells?
Chromosomal DNA contains most of the genetic material, whereas the Plasmid DNA carries extra information
4 of 8
What do some bacteria have on the outside of the cell?
Flagella
